Rich, lively, and satisfying — a fuller-bodied cup that still drinks smooth whether you take it black or with a splash of milk. The honey process leaves some of the coffee cherry’s sticky mucilage on during drying, which contributes to the coffee’s sweetness and rounded cup character.

FROM FARM TO YOUR CUP, THE SHORT WAY

The beans come direct from coffee farms in Costa Rica’s Tarrazú region and the San Diego mill, then travel to our small roastery right here in Dallas, where we roast them in small batches every month. The lot is made from Caturra and Catuai varietals grown at about 1200–1750 meters and prepared using the honey process.

BREWS BEAUTIFULLY, HOWEVER YOU MAKE IT.

This is an everyday workhorse coffee. It shines as a standard drip or pour-over, and it pulls a rich, sweet shot in an espresso machine. One detail espresso and super-automatic owners will appreciate: these beans roast up dry, not oily. Oily beans gum up grinders and clog the bean hoppers on super-automatic machines — so a non-oily medium roast like this one is exactly what those machines are built for.

FAQ

Q: I usually drink dark roast — will this be too light for me?
A: Give it a try. This is a fuller-bodied medium with chocolate depth, honey sweetness, and lively fruit notes — satisfying for most dark-roast drinkers without the burnt edge.

Q: Whole bean or ground?
A: Whole bean stays fresher longer and tastes best if you have a grinder. No grinder? Choose Ground and we'll handle it for you.

Q: Is it good for espresso?
A: Yes — it pulls a rich, balanced shot with sweetness and depth, and because the beans aren't oily, they won't gum up your espresso or super-automatic machine.

Q: How fresh is it?
A: We roast in small batches monthly in Dallas, so you're getting coffee roasted close to home — never stale warehouse stock.
