Educated Girls Become Empowered Women – Jan 8, 4pm
Sahar Dargai is going to offer a class to Afghan women in Dari to help them begin adjusting to their new home here in Dallas. The meetings will be based on things the women want/need to know to help make daily life easier. They will talk about things like, How to use Uber, How to Open a Bank Account, How to Pay Rent Online, and other practical things.
Civic Engagement
The Dallas Public Library offers classes that help students study for the U.S. Citizenship test and practice English language skills for the interview. Classes are always free.
